Contact Me

Hi!

Want to contact me? Please do!

I don’t receive many messages currently, so you are highly likely to get a response.

Don’t expect fast responses. I enjoy my slow, peaceful existence and am not looking for additional stress. I don’t expect fast responses from you, either.

I expect private conversations to remain private, between the parties involved in the conversation. (It’s fine to share some things with people close to you; use your judgement.) You might not care about privacy, but I do.

With that said, below are ways you can reach me.

Signal (recommended)

zkhrv.39

Signal is the preferred method for private communication. Privacy for you. Privacy for me. Everybody’s happy.

(Signal’s finances currently don’t look sustainable long term. If you use Signal and have the means, please donate to keep it alive.)

Email (not recommended)

Ugh, email.

It is good for some things, but private communication is not one of them.

Consider all your communications over email to be public discourse, because that’s not too far from the truth. Latacora has an article going over why you should stop using (encrypted) email. (It focuses on encrypted email, but the argument goes just as well for plain, unencrypted email.)

You are doubly discouraged from using email to contact me if you use a “free” email provider like @gmail.com.

Remember, you might not care about privacy, but I do. If your emails are public (and mined for their data), that means mine are, too. There’s no excuse: use Signal instead.

Have I bashed on email enough? Good.

Don’t use email.

I only make my email available because it’s the lowest common denominator of online communication. If you must, use plain text email.
